MODFAB THINKS...that there's a special place in hell for people who don't choose [title of show]'s wonderful comediennes, Blackwell and Blickenstaff, for a Tony. But I bet voters will opt against them, and go instead with traditional supporting parts. There's nothing wrong, per se, with the work of Fitzgerald, Gwynne, Olivo and Plimpton...just that the roles are all a bit stale. Sigh. Nine people's favorite thing, and all that. I hope I'm wrong.

DARK HORSE: In a microscopically small part, Mary Testa still manages to steal the show with two brief scenes of Guys and Dolls.
