MODFAB THINKS...that Sarandon should be in the Leading Actress category. But since she's here (although I have only the internet to confirm that, not actual facts), I figure her celebrity -- and her incredible last monologue -- will pull her into the nominees' circle. So much of this category is a toss-up, though. It could easily be a different actress from Joe Turner or Norman Conquests. Or Martin (who is better, after all, in a true supporting part) might take Sarandon's slot. We'll just have to see.

DARK HORSE: I promise you, I haven't lost my mind. But watch out for, yes, Piper Perabo. She's got a pregnancy storyline working for her character AND the funny lines in reasons to be pretty.
