Gratuitous Fabulousity: The N-Word, Erectile Dysfunction, and Green Lantern

Green LanternImage via WikipediaDETENTION HALL: Sometimes, I can't even conceive how Republicans hold their heads up. When you teach kids, in CLASS, to use the N-Word when discussing Obama...well, you should be locked up. Period. Even in a world where you can get away with calling a person of color "that one," there are still things that are beyond the pale. [Drudge Retort]

THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO ME, BUT: For you men out there who complete things, ummm, a little quicker that you'd like to...guess what? It's not your fault, it's genetics. Congratulations! (But falling asleep before your partner is finished is still your fault, and you should be ashamed of yourself.) [BBC]

HEROIC HOTTIE: The movie version of Green Lantern is ramping up...which in and of itself is not very exciting, until you realize that the ringslinger will be Ryan Gosling, and then it gets a lot more exciting. [Latino Review]

SUPERPOKE: What's most surprising about the Ten Most Annoying Things About Facebook? That the crappy new design isn't one of them. [Heartless Doll]

THE GAYING OF GOOGLE: The search engine of record, Google, has always been a little fruity, what with their rainbow-colored logo, liberal work environment, and sexy millionaire founders. (Are the sexy because they're millionaires? Aren't ALL millionaires sexy, except Trump?) But now Google is actually coming out of the internet closet, throwing financial support behind the effort to defeat California's anti-equality Proposition 8. Search with pride, people! [Truemors]

I will continue to proudly search with Google. But gosh, does anyone search with anything else nowadays? I'm old enough to remember when there were other search engines although, sadly, I've forgotten their names. But good for Google!

Old School search engines: Yahoo, Altavista, Webcrawler :)

Regarding Obama, I still can't get over the fact that McCain used the word whip when talking about him:
