Siouxsie's Mantaray!

Few careers in music have had as many chapters as that of Susan Dallion, better known as rock icon Siouxsie Sioux. Surfacing first in the British underground alongside Sid Vicious and Billy Idol, she became the leader of Siouxsie and the Banshees, a group that morphed from punk to new wave to global hitmakers with "Cities in Dust," "Peek-A-Boo" and "Kiss Them For Me." Having spent the last decade recording with acts like Basement Jaxx, Marc Almond and Morrissey, she's frequently cited as a major inspiration by artists as varied as U2, Radiohead, Shirley Manson (Garbage), The Cure, Dave Navarro and the Scissor Sisters. And to many of us (of a certain age), she is the original badass female rock star.
