Taking Out The T.V. Garbage

In news that will surprise no one who has actually seen an episode, The Megan Mullally Show has been canceled, effective immediately. Instead of running repeats in its time slot, the show's producers, NBC, will work with stations that carry the crapfest to find "potential programming solutions". Meaning, a replacement that doesn't suck wind.

In related news, the pubescent soap opera The O.C. has also felt the sharp sting of cancellation. I never watched even one episode, so I can only really be sure of one thing: it was definitely better than Megan Mullally's show.
