The Piazza Will Be Televised

For those of you who love the theater but haven't made it to Broadway lately, pay attention: one of ModFab's most treasured new American musicals (and one of mine, too) The Light in the Piazza will air tonight, live, on PBS a week or so before it completes its surprisingly healthy run at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre (I say "surprisingly" because beautiful and original musical dramas aren't hot these days; it's all about the musical comedy or jukebox musicals to please name-recognition happy tourists) .

Check your local TV listings. This is your chance to see the musical that ModFab called a "new millenium classic" and the show that won more TONY Awards than Spamalot! last season. Don't miss hearing the best new Broadway score of the decade sung live.
