Midweek Bits

- A word of warning to Chantal, Billy Bush, Leeza, and all the other celebjournalists: Clay Aiken is coming to American Idol. If you mention his deep and abiding love for anonymous unprotected mansex, however, you can kiss those obstructed-view press seats good-bye. (Queerty)
- Elton John's Broadway dud Lestat is closing. Surprise surprise. (NYT)
- The best music blogger in the galaxy, Arjan, links up new singles by Andy Bell, Manhattan Clique, and a brand-new Imogen Heap track. If his blog were cocaine, I'd snort every line. (Arjan Writes)
- George Bush sucks. No, like he really sucks. Like a Hoover. (Pressing The Flesh)
- Nathan Lane will go bisexual on Broadway next season. Yeah, like anyone's going to believe that one. (BroadwayWorld)
- I've got a bunch of friends in Maryland...even went to grad school there. It's a shame I won't feel so welcome next time I visit. (Rod 2.0)
- 2004's Tony-winning revival of A Raisin in the Sun -- starring Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald, and Sanaa Lathan -- will be filmed for television with its cast intact. ABC will broadcast it sometime next year. (Broadway World)
