Arguably the most expressive eyes in Hollywood today belong to Djimon Hounsou, Academy Award nominee and star of In America, Gladiator, Amistad, and Beauty Shop. His formidable talent, moody good looks, and rockin' pecs recently landed him as #83 on the Actors of the Aughts countdown at The Film Experience. (Good call, Nathaniel...it's almost enough for me to forgive you for the unfathomable Haley Joel Osment ranking.)

Born in Benin and raised in Paris, Hounsou was discovered by fashion designer Thierry Mugler and first found fame as a male supermodel (remember Janet Jackson's video for "Love Will Never Do Without You"?).
